FAQ
Is this a real Kilimanjaro experience?
Yes. You hike on the actual mountain, inside the national park, with licensed mountain guides — this is not a viewpoint tour.
Will I see the snow on Kilimanjaro?
On clear days, yes — especially on the Lemosho route where views of Kibo Peak are common.
Can beginners do this hike?
Fit beginners can manage it, but it is challenging. The Marangu route is better if you want an easier option.
Is altitude sickness a concern?
You can expect to see elephants, lions, buffalo, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, hippos, and many antelope species. In Ngorongoro Crater, there is also a strong chance of spotting the rare black rhino.
What should I wear?
Hiking shoes
Warm jacket (it gets cold at altitude)
Rain jacket
Hat & sunscreen
