Day 1: Arrival in Bukavu – Transfer to Kahuzi-Biega
Arrive in Bukavu where your Safari Vibes Africa guide will meet you. After a short briefing, drive to Kahuzi-Biega National Park through scenic countryside and local villages.
Check in at your lodge near the park, relax, and enjoy dinner while listening to the sounds of the forest.

Day 2: Lowland Gorilla Trekking Experience
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for registration and a detailed safety briefing.
Accompanied by armed rangers and trackers, you’ll trek through thick rainforest searching for a habituated lowland gorilla family. The trek duration varies, but the reward is priceless.
Once you meet the gorillas, you’ll spend one unforgettable hour observing their behavior—feeding, resting, and interacting naturally in the forest.
Return to the lodge for rest and reflection.
