Itinerary
Morning Pick-up & Drive
Your day starts with a hotel pick-up from Stone Town or beach hotels. We drive south to Fumba Village, the starting point of the Safari Blue adventure.
Welcome & Boarding the Dhow
At Fumba, you’ll meet the Safari Blue crew and board a traditional dhow. After a short briefing, we set sail into the protected waters of Menai Bay.
Snorkeling Session
We stop at a beautiful coral reef where you’ll snorkel in clear, warm water. The reef is shallow and safe, making it perfect even if you’ve never snorkeled before. Expect colorful fish and vibrant marine life.
Sandbank Relaxation
Next, we sail to a white sandbank surrounded by turquoise water. Here you can swim, relax, take photos, or simply enjoy the peaceful ocean views while the crew serves fresh fruits.
Island Lunch at Kwale
We continue to Kwale Island, where a freshly prepared seafood lunch awaits. The meal usually includes grilled fish, calamari, rice, sauces, and vegetarian options if requested. Soft drinks and water are provided.
Lagoon Swim (Tide Permitting)
After lunch, you may visit a natural mangrove lagoon for a refreshing swim — a calm, hidden spot surrounded by nature (depending on the tide).

In the afternoon, we sail back to Fumba and transfer you back to your hotel, relaxed and full of unforgettable memories.
